DevOps Engineer – Best in City!

Our client, MemberClicks (based in Atlanta) is a rapidly growing SaaS company that has been in business since 1999 and serves over 1,800 customers who are membership based organizations. In January of 2017 they enhanced their already strong market position by the acquisition of ePly (a registration company) and WebLink (an enterprise-level membership SaaS company)

We are proud to represent MemberClicks in their search for a Senior DevOps Engineer to work out of their Yaletown offices.

The SRE team is remotely distributed (yet remain tight-knit) and high performing. They don’t just make infrastructure “work” – the team is also also comfortable jumping in to app code, or tuning DBqueries, or ANYTHING else required to improve the stability of applications.

You will never get more exposure to more cutting edge techniques than in this role! They are building out a fully automated CI/CD that is self healing and autonomous.

Well moving the bulk of their production load to AWS, they apply a wide range of deep AWS tools including: DataDog, New Relic, Logentries and Opsgenie, inclusive of DB’s – MSSQL / MySQL / MongoDB. The App languages that are supported include Java, Scala, Node.js, C#, PHP and Python using tools that include Ansible, Jenkins, New Relic, Logentries, Sentry and a plethora of other CLI tooling.

Just one of their core values is ‘Forgiveness’. ‘We’ve all been there, so let’s forgive each other’s mistakes’. Another one is, ‘Shockingly Refreshing’. Whether it’s building software or supporting customers, they want everything to be a ‘shockingly refreshing experience’. Nice!

What you get to do:

  • Provide DevOps support and be part of a proficient, ‘fun’ and rapidly growing enterprise
  • Enjoy unlimited PTO (time off) and have the flexibility to work from home as the work load is managed
  • Experience an open and friendly culture that is absolutely unique to the industry
  • Dependant upon skills and seniority, be remunerated in the top 5% of the ‘space’
  • Enjoy ‘Freedom Fridays’ where if your regular duties have been addressed, you get to work on any related technologies of your choosing — Who does that???

You are a DevOps Professional and you are also (must be) a GOOD (Fun?) PERSON! The company culture will accept nothing less!

Please send your resume to Mark Strong  Mark@VanJobs.ca and know that your submission will be reviewed by an expert – not a computer.

VanJobs  ‘only the best’
